TAKE HOME Pricing is designed to make planning simple for studio owners. When you host 40 dancers, the total weekend investment averages just $375 per dancer. Just pick your dates, pay the deposit, and we’ll handle the rest — booking, organizing, and bringing SOUL DE SOUL straight to you.

  • All travel logistics are handled by our team — including roundtrip airfare for SDS faculty. We coordinate and cover flight arrangements as part of your TAKE HOME package, so there’s no added burden on your studio. This ensures a seamless experience from the moment you book, allowing you to focus on your dancers and your weekend — while we take care of the rest.

  • Hotel and accommodations for SDS faculty are fully covered and arranged by our team. We take care of where they stay so you don’t have to — ensuring a smooth, stress-free experience for your studio. From check-in to check-out, everything is thoughtfully planned to support a weekend that’s focused entirely on your dancers and studio culture.

  • Daily per diems and meals for SDS faculty are also included in your TAKE HOME experience. We ensure our team is well taken care of throughout the weekend — so you don’t have to worry about food, reimbursements, or last-minute logistics. This all-inclusive approach is designed to eliminate stress for studio owners and allow you to stay fully present with your dancers and the experience.

  • As a special part of the weekend, we host a Directors Dinner for up to two studio directors alongside our SDS leadership. It’s a dedicated time to connect, reflect, and share in conversation beyond the studio floor. This intimate dinner is our way of honoring your role in your dancers’ journeys — and creating space for meaningful dialogue, support, and connection.

Your weekend includes four classes of your choice from our curated offerings, PLUS our signature Movement Exploration class to close the experience for a total of 5 classes. Classes are led by SDS Founder & CEO Mackenzie Martin and SOULELITE Director Michaela MooreAdditional faculty or level splits can be added for an extra cost.

  • The TAKE HOME experience is designed with one primary level, tailored for intermediate to advanced dancers. This serves as the base level of our offering — intentionally crafted to provide depth, challenge, and growth for your core group. If your studio would like to accommodate minis or juniors, an additional level can be added for an extra cost, allowing for a more personalized and inclusive weekend experience.

  • Your TAKE HOME weekend includes a total of 10 hours of class time, thoughtfully designed for depth and connection. This includes four 110-minute classes, allowing for rich exploration with built-in bio breaks, two 30-minute guided warm-ups, and a powerful 1-hour Movement Exploration class to close the experience. This expanded structure gives dancers more time to engage, absorb, and grow — far beyond the format of traditional 1-hour convention classes.

  • Your TAKE HOME weekend includes TWO HOURS of informal showcase time—a dedicated opportunity for studios to present finished, unfinished, or in-progress work. Whether it’s choreography from last season or pieces planned for the upcoming one, this time is yours to fill. Our two core faculty members will be present throughout the showcase, offering verbal feedback on each piece to help guide and inspire your dancers’ growth.

  • Wear your Story” - As part of our TAKE HOME weekend, each dancer receives a personalized name lanyard adorned with unique trading pins. Throughout the weekend, we’ve designed a thoughtful, curated system that encourages dancers to exchange pins and engage in meaningful conversations. This not only fosters genuine connection and friendship but also creates a treasured memento — a symbol of their shared journey and growth during the experience.

  • As part of your TAKE HOME experience, each studio director will receive a thoughtfully curated Take Home Swag Bag. Packed with exclusive SOUL DE SOUL merchandise, helpful resources, and inspiring surprises, this swag bag is designed to keep the energy and inspiration flowing well beyond the weekend. It’s our way of saying thank you for your leadership and commitment to nurturing your dancers and studio culture.

  • To celebrate a truly inspiring weekend, we’ll close out the full TAKE HOME experience with an * optional * pizza wrap party — the perfect chance for dancers, directors, and faculty to relax, connect, and savor some well-deserved fun together. It’s a laid-back way to share stories, laughs, and memories while enjoying delicious pizza, creating a joyful moment that honors all the hard work and growth of the weekend. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Bring the SDS feeling home with you. ”TAKE HOME” is your chance to experience the heart of SOUL DE SOUL - right in your own studio. It’s more than just a weekend of training - it’s a moment to deepen connection, pour into your dancers, and nurture your studio culture with intention!

  • Item deStudios can apply up to $2,000 in SDS credits earned from the most recent regional season toward their TAKE HOME experience. This benefit works retroactively—for example, studios that participated in the 2024–2025 season can use those credits toward 2025–2026 “TAKE HOME” events.

  • During the TAKE HOME event, we will award SDS Scholarships to deserving dancers. These scholarships can be applied toward the following year’s regional events or used when rebooking your next TAKE HOME experience, helping to support continued growth within your studio. Please note that all SDS Scholarships must be used within a year of being awarded, consistent with the terms of our other scholarship offerings.

  • Dancers interested in joining the SOULELITE program are eligible to audition during the TAKE HOME weekend, as the SOULELITE Director serves as one of the core faculty members leading the event. To be eligible to audition for the SOULELITE program during the TAKE HOME weekend, dancers must complete and submit the SOULELITE audition form prior to the event.

  • Beyond SOULELITE auditions, our team will be actively scouting exceptional dancers for The Company throughout the weekend. This is a unique opportunity for dancers to showcase their talent in a supportive environment while catching the eye of our leadership. Whether you’re aiming for SOULELITE or the Company, this weekend could be your moment to step into the spotlight and take your artistry to the next level.

  • Additionally, we’ll be awarding affiliate scholarships through our valued partnerships throughout the weekend. These scholarships offer even more opportunities for dancers to receive support and advance their training beyond the event.

  • One of the greatest benefits of the TAKE HOME experience is the opportunity to build meaningful connections and deepen relationships within the vibrant SOUL DE SOUL community. Beyond classes and showcases, dancers, directors, and faculty come together to share, support, and inspire one another. This sense of belonging and authentic connection creates a powerful foundation for growth—not just during the weekend, but throughout your studio’s ongoing journey with SDS.

  • Studios hosting a SOUL DE SOUL In-Studio TAKE HOME event will be eligible for a $1,000 discount on their next regional event enrollment—provided their re-enrollment for that regional event is equal to or exceeds their TAKE HOME enrollment. This offer is our way of rewarding studios that invest in deepening their partnership with SOUL DE SOUL through both in-studio and regional experiences.

Studios select four preferred classes at the base level to tailor the TAKE HOME experience to their dancers’ needs. In addition, the signature Movement Exploration class is included to provide a unique opportunity for creative expression and deeper artistic connection.

CLASSES

  • Contemporary with Mackenzie Martin — Dive into a class focused on attention to detail, expressive gestures, and musicality. This session invites dancers to deepen their movement quality while exploring nuanced storytelling through precise and soulful choreography.

  • Groovy Contemporary with Mouz — This class blends structured choreography with playful movement. Dancers will explore musicality and body awareness within a creative framework designed to feel good and inspire expression.

  • A sacred and expansive class designed by Mackenzie Martin, mmmethod blends breath, meditation, and improvisational guidance to help dancers move through the fullness of who they are. Welcoming both first-time and seasoned improvisers, this practice invites each artist to uncover their unique movement signature and personal quality, reconnecting to their wholeness through intuitive expression.

  • Jazz Class with Mackenzie Martin — A dynamic fusion of traditional jazz and jazz funk, challenge dancers to embody precision and style. This class emphasizes musicality, body control, and expressive energy, pushing dancers to bring boldness and style to every step.

  • Rhythm Tap with Michaela Moore — A vibrant class focusing on intricate footwork, syncopated rhythms, and musical phrasing. Michaela guides dancers to sharpen their tap technique while exploring expressive rhythms that bring the music—and their own personality—to life.

  • A guided exploration of improvisational tools and practices by Michaela Moore that help dancers build confidence, expand movement vocabulary, and deepen their connection to impulse and intuition. This class offers structure and freedom, inviting dancers to discover their voice through spontaneous creation.

  • Movement Exploration lead by Mackenzie Martin & Michaela Moore — SDS’s signature closing class, designed as a safe and open environment for discovery, experimentation, creativity, and playfulness. This session encourages dancers to tap into their unique movement voices and explore new possibilities beyond structured choreography.

ADD ONS

  • When bringing in a third faculty member, studios can expand their TAKE HOME experience with additional class styles, allowing for even more customization based on your dancers’ needs and interests. Some of the available offerings include:

    • Hip Hop

    • Lyrical

    • Technique

    A two-level TAKE HOME automatically includes a third teacher to accommodate split-level instruction.
    For single-level weekends, an additional teacher can be added for $2,500 per teacher to access these expanded style options and further enrich your weekend.

LABS

  • Led by Mackenzie Martin, this is a focused class on translating movement for film. Using a camera and a gimble, dancers learn techniques for spatial awareness, dynamic control, and emotional clarity to effectively convey narrative and intention on camera, with attention to framing, timing, and visual storytelling.

  • Lead by Michaela Moore, this class transforms the studio into a movement laboratory where dancers explore how to translate kinetic energy into choreographic expression. Through experimentation and guided creation, dancers discover the art of putting momentum into motion

SEMINARS

  • A powerful lecture-based class by Mackenzie Martin that invites dancers to reframe the outdated “starving artist” narrative. Through storytelling, mindset shifts, and soulful discussion, dancers explore how to move from scarcity to abundance—reclaiming their passion, purpose, and the innate richness of creativity as a viable, vibrant life path.

  • Taught by Michaela Moore, this seminar unpacks the foundational elements of movement, choreography, and the architecture of design. Through examples, call and response, and integrated application, dancers gain a deeper understanding of the layers that shape movement creation and choreographic intention.
