SDS STUDIO SEASON PASS POLICY
The SDS Studio Season Pass is designed for studios that wish to make SDS a key part of their season, offering significant savings and exclusive benefits. To maintain the integrity of the program and ensure a seamless experience for all participants, the following policies apply:
Program Eligibility & Enrollment
The SDS Studio Season Pass is open to all studios attending two or more SDS events within the same season.
Enrollment is required prior to attending the FIRST EVENT to activate the program benefits.
Discounts apply on a 1:1 basis. For example, if a studio brings 30 dancers to one event but only 15 to the second city, discounts will only apply to the 15 roster spots attending both events.
A “STUDIO” is defined by a minimum of 5 dancers accompanied by a studio representative.
Discount Structure & Payment Terms
To ensure a seamless and fair process, the following policies apply to all studios participating in the SDS Studio Season Pass program:
1. Full Payment Requirement for First Event
Studios must pay in full for their first (full-price) SDS event before becoming eligible for the 50% off discount at additional cities.
Payment must be completed by the designated deadline to secure eligibility for future discounted events.
2. Discount Application & Eligibility
Season Pass Eligibility:
To qualify for the Season Pass, studios must commit to a minimum of two cities. You’re eligible to attend all cities on the tour once you’re part of the Season Pass, with the flexibility to choose which ones to attend.Discounts on a 1:1 Basis:
Discounts are applied on a 1:1 basis, meaning if your studio brings 30 dancers (30 roster spots) to one event and 15 dancers (15 roster spots) to another, the discount will apply only to the 15 roster spots for the second, and each additional city thereafter.Deposits:
A DEPOSIT is required for EACH city you plan to attend, based on the anticipated number of dancers for both registration and showcase entries.Qualifier Event:
Your first attended event acts as your qualifier, determining the total number of approved roster spots for your Season Pass based on how many dancers attend that event. This number is fixed for the remainder of the season.
(For example, if you bring 15 dancers to your qualifier event, you will have 15 roster spots for the tour.)Full Payment & VIP Studio Pricing:
Fees are assessed based on the rate at which full payment is received. If you qualify for VIP Studio Pricing and pay in full by the end of the payment window, your fees will be assessed at that discounted rate.Scholarship Application:
SDS billing department applies fees on your DanceBug account based on roster spot usage and the payment timeline. SDS will track and apply discounts accordingly. Accurate billing will reflect each dancer's scholarship status, roster spot designation, and city participation throughout the season.
Since Season Pass billing is accessed per roster spot, studios are encouraged to manage their own internal billing structures accordingly—especially if dancers are rotating across events, or applying scholarships. This ensures clarity on how discounts are applied and helps maintain accurate financial records on the studio side.
3. Discount Limitations & Transferability
Discounts cannot be retroactively applied to previously registered events.
Showcase Discounts apply only to group registrations (solos, duets, and trios are not eligible for the Season Pass discount).
4. Cancellation & Modifications
If a studio reduces their dancer count for their first event after paying, the second event’s discount may be adjusted accordingly.
If a studio cancels their first event, they will forfeit their eligibility for the Season Pass discount entirely.
Modifications to registrations must be submitted in writing by the deadline, and SDS reserves the right to adjust or revoke discounts based on changes.
5. Compliance & Enforcement
SDS reserves the right to audit registrations to ensure compliance with the policy.
Any attempts to manipulate dancer registrations to maximize discounts may result in loss of Season Pass privileges.
SDS maintains full discretion to interpret and enforce these policies in the best interest of fairness and program integrity.
6. Event Participation Requirements
Studios must officially register and participate in each event they claim a discount for.
If a studio cancels attendance at a discounted event, they forfeit the discounted rate for future events unless rescheduled.
7. Studio Recognition & Visibility Perks
Studios will receive an on-stage recognition moment and a group photo opportunity with SDS faculty at each attended event.
Season Pass studios will be featured in SDS promotional materials, including social media, website recognition, and potential behind-the-scenes content.
Studios attending two or more events will receive a STUDIO SEASON PASS Certificate of Completion.
8. Exclusive Swag & Studio Identification
All Season Pass studios will receive access to purchase optional exclusive SDS Studio Season Pass swag.
SEASON PASS gift bag is provided once per season and must be collected at an event.
9. Unlimited Digital Feedback Policy
Studios may submit group routines for unlimited digital feedback if the same routine is performed at multiple events.
Feedback will be provided via video or written notes from SDS faculty, and has a minimum turn around time of 2 weeks.
Post-event feedback requests must be submitted prior to the season deadline, May 31st, 2026.
10. Transfer & Refund Policy
The SDS Studio Season Pass is non-transferable and may not be shared with another studio.
Discounts apply only to the enrolled studio’s dancers and group routines—they cannot be extended to independent dancers or combined studios.
No refunds or credits will be issued for unused perks, canceled events, or missed deadlines.
11. Program Integrity & Compliance
SDS reserves the right to revoke Season Pass privileges if a studio fails to adhere to the outlined policies.
SDS retains full discretion in determining program eligibility, discount application, and promotional visibility.
SDS reserves the right to modify or discontinue the Studio Season Pass program at any time, with advance notice to participating studios.
By enrolling in the SDS Studio Season Pass, you acknowledge and agree to all terms and conditions outlined in this policy.

YOU’VE BEEN APPROVED - NOW WHAT?!
Welcome to the Season Pass! 🎉 You’re officially in — here’s what to do next:
1. Reserve Your Cities by Making Your Deposits
Submit your reservations for all intended cities based on your best anticipated headcount and place your deposits.
For example, you may bring 30 dancers to your first (qualifier) event, but only plan to tour with 15. Even though your maximum roster spot count will be locked in at 30 based on that first event — please make sure all other city reservations reflect your actual anticipated dancer attendance.
However, all additional cities should reflect enrollment for the 15 dancers you intend to bring.A deposit is required for each city you plan to attend, based on your anticipated dancer count for both registration and showcase entries. This secures your spot and supports accurate planning.
⚠️ Be sure to reserve before the VIP Studio Pricing deadline to unlock special studio rates.
2. Input Dancer Info for Your Qualifying City
Enter the anticipated dancer information for your first attended city (your qualifying event). Once full payment for your first event is placed, this officially sets your Season Pass roster spot count for the remainder of the season.
3. Apply for VIP Director’s Room Teaching Opportunity
If you're interested in teaching in the VIP Director’s Room, be sure to submit your application early.
We’re so excited to have you on the tour 💫 Let the journey begin!
